Holy Ghost Church is a proud participant of the annual Souper Bowl of Caring. Each year on Super Bowl Sunday, students of our ECF program bring in huge soup pots and gratefully accept cash donations and donations of canned food which are then given to the Bread Basket Food Bank, based in Scranton, PA and with a location directly across the street from us! The Bread Basket provides food those who need it, free of charge and no questions asked. The money and cans that we collect on Super Bowl Sunday are put directly toward feeding the hungry and homeless in our community! This year's collection was generous in much needed food items.
